Yesterday, Donaghmore and Queen Elizabeth II Primary School Rugby team, Team Lions, had the opportunity to play at the Kingspan Stadium, the home of Ulster Rugby. Playing three matches, Team Lions demonstrated teamwork, skill and commitment throughout. Some great Rugby was on show and staff, pupils and parents had a throughly enjoyable day.
A sincere thank you to Tailored Images for sponsoring the combined two school team kit, to the supporters who took time out of their day to come along and cheer. Also a big thank you to the coaches: Gareth Richardson, Denver Willis and Steven Sinnamon, who generously volunteered their time on Friday afternoons to prepare the team for the Festival.
