Yesterday, our P5-P7 pupils enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to the Ulster Museum in Belfast as part of our new World Around Us topic: Prove it!
We began our day with a fascinating workshop on Ancient Ireland, focusing on the Stone Age. Pupils had the opportunity to step into the shoes of an archaeologist - examining different pieces of flint and working out what each might have been used for thousands of years ago. After the workshop we explored the museum's many exhibits. Following our lunch, we finished the day off with a quick walk around the beautiful Victorian Glasshouse beside the museum. A very big thank you to our PTA for funding the bus - what a fantastic way to kick off our new topic.
