This morning, pupils in KS2 had a great treat when Sandra from the Livestock & Meat Commission NI came into school to cook for and talk to the pupils about the LMC's 'Farm to Fork' initiative.
Sandra talked to the pupils about the farm to fork journey of Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured beef and lamb. She explained how our farmers are working hard every day to produce beef and lamb to the world leading standards that the scheme demands.
The pupils also got to sample some delicious food and were kindly given a cook book each, along with some stationery.
