School grounds

26th May 2026

We are very proud of our school grounds and the outdoor spaces our pupils enjoy every day.  Our grounds provide plenty of room for fun, play and freedom to run around, while also offering a variety of spaces where pupils can learn and develop important skills outside the classroom.

Our outdoor areas include a very well resourced play area, a 3G pitch, basketball nets and a large grass pitch which is especially enjoyed during the summer term.  We also have an outdoor learning area,  allowing lessons to take place outdoors as well as in the classroom.  Our gravel play area is another favourite space, where pupils can enjoy free play with toys during break and lunchtime.

Recently we have been continuing to develop our polytunnel area with the addition of a second polytunnel.  This has created even more opportunities for pupils to get involved in growing lettuces, strawberries, a range of flowers and carrots.  They have thoroughly enjoyed helping with watering, weeding and caring for the plants.

As our school motto says, "Working together to achieve success."  I would like to thank everyone who gives their time and support to help maintain and improve our school grounds.  Your efforts help make our school a beautiful place where our pupils can learn, play and feel proud of their school.

If you would like to get involved and offer your help, please contact the school to let us know - we would love to hear from you.  The PTA are planning a tidy up day during the summer holidays and we would be very grateful for any help big or small.

Thank you
