Our P5 class have been exploring the concept of perimeter in a fun and active way! To bring learning outdoors, we drew large shapes in chalk on the playground. The children walked around the edges, counting their steps as they went. This hands-on activity helped them understand that the perimeter is the total distance around a shape. The pupils loved combining Maths with movement!
